Abstract

The study addressed the issue of psychological stress and its relationship with the performance level of nurses in public hospitals Ali Omar Askar Hospital was chosen as the case in which the study was conducted. achieved, in addition to defining the problem, formulating hypotheses, preparing a questionnaire form and analysis the results, as it became clear that there is a relationship between psychological stress and the level of psychological stress: the more psychological pressures appear work, the lower the level of performance. It also turns out that there is a group of factors that contribute to the emergence of psychological pressures among nurses in public hospitals. Using the statistical program (SPSS), the data were statistically nalysis, which revealed, by extracting measures of central tendency and Pearson correlation equation, that there is a strong relationship between psychological stress and job performance among nurses at Ali Omar Askar Hospital.
